Hi all,

Ive seen all sorts of formicaria, but none like this:

I got the idea to build/design a nest completly out of air-hardening clay(and glass ofcourse).

Anyone have experience with this? So no plaster, y-tong, beton, wood etc.

Do you mean dry clay?

Not dry clay but air-hardening clay or air-dry clay.

Meaning the clay hardens after 24hours and there is no need for an oven.

Also the clay is permanent and will be minimaly affected by water, it can also be sealed with an epoxy.

When you put water into air drying clay, it goes to a sort of liquidly mud state. Well the stuff ive got does.
